Expat professional working in Spain

The dangers of facing the Tax Agency blind.

Trying to navigate Spanish bureaucracy without mastering the language and tax law exposes you to mistakes that easily translate into automatic fines.

01

Losing the Flat Rate (Tarifa Plana)

Making a mistake during your setup forces you to pay the maximum Social Security fee (over €300/month) from day one, losing the right to the €80 discounted rate with no chance to claim it back.

02

Not knowing what taxes to pay or when

If you aren’t sure which country your income is taxed in, you might end up paying taxes twice — or not paying where you should and receiving a penalty. We analyze this from day one.

03

Losing tax benefits

Some highly advantageous tax regimes, like the Beckham Law, have strict deadlines. If you don’t apply at the right time, you lose them forever. We review your profile immediately so nothing slips by.

04

Receiving official letters you don’t understand

The Tax Agency sends notifications in Spanish with very short deadlines. If you don’t understand them or miss the deadline, penalties accumulate automatically. We receive and manage all notifications for you.

05

Invoicing incorrectly and not getting paid

If you invoice foreign clients without the correct data, they may reject your invoice or withhold payment. We teach you exactly how to invoice every type of client, in any country.

06

Tax Residency problems

This is one of the most common mistakes among digital nomads arriving in Spain. Spending more than 183 days in Spain makes you a tax resident. Failing to properly declare your worldwide income is considered tax fraud.

What we do for you from day one.

Forget about looking for translators or trying to decipher legal forms. Our team takes care of your tax protection.

Clean financial dashboard for expats

You don’t need to be in Spain to have everything under control.

Travel with peace of mind while we monitor your business. Everything is accessible from your mobile, anywhere in the world.

You will never miss a Tax Agency letter

We activate your official electronic mailbox (DEHú) and monitor it daily. If the Spanish Government contacts you, we receive the document, translate it, explain it to you, and reply on your behalf.

Upload receipts with a simple photo

Save your receipts easily. Take a picture of your restaurant or transport tickets and our system will extract the data automatically. Zero paperwork.

100% legal invoicing

Our platform allows you to create and send professional invoices that strictly comply with Spanish regulations, applying the exact VAT or withholdings without you having to calculate anything.

No surprises in your bank account

See in real time how much VAT and Income Tax (IRPF) you are accumulating to pay to the State. This way you can set the money aside and won’t suffer surprises on tax day.

Spanish documentation and passports

We register you and explain how everything works.

We review your documentation before processing anything, so your setup is correct from day one and there are no issues with Immigration.

Can you pay only 24% Income Tax? We check it

Not everyone can apply for this regime, but if you meet the requirements, the savings are massive. We study your case and, if applicable, request your inclusion in the Beckham Law to drastically optimize your tax payments during your first 5 years in Spain.

Do you have clients in Europe? Invoice correctly

If you are going to work with European clients or buy international software licenses (Google, Meta, Adobe), we will register you in the VIES (ROI), preparing the technical report so the Tax Agency doesn’t reject your registration.

Clients outside Europe? We teach you how to invoice them

No VAT, no errors, and no rejected invoices. If you work for the United States (LLCs), Latin America, or the UK, we will explain how to issue exempt invoices and we will take care of properly declaring them as exports.

Your electronic signature: mandatory and easy to get

The Digital Certificate is essential to sign any legal document in Spain. We will explain the fastest process to get it, even if your Spanish level is zero.

What people ask us before starting

Normal doubts for someone arriving in Spain for the first time.

Do you handle the whole process in English?

Yes, absolutely. Your personal advisor will write to you in English, calls are in English, and you will receive all quarterly reports in your language. Furthermore, when the Tax Agency sends you any letter or notification, we explain exactly what it means and what you need to do.

What do I need to become a freelancer in Spain?

To register legally you will need a NIE, a Spanish bank account, and a Digital Certificate. We help you obtain all three. Depending on your nationality and visa type, there may be additional requirements — that’s why the first thing we do is review your specific situation before processing anything.

I have a Digital Nomad Visa, can you help me?

Yes, it is one of our most common profiles. With the Digital Nomad Visa, you can legally work in Spain for foreign clients. We handle your freelancer registration in the correct activity, manage your international invoicing without VAT, and, if you meet the requirements, process the Beckham Law so you pay a flat 24% tax rate instead of the progressive scale. All in English and without you having to speak to any administration.

How much is the monthly service?

In the first free consultation, we confirm the exact price for your specific case based on the complexity of your business and tax residency. No lock-in periods or hidden fees.

Can I register if I don’t have a NIE yet?

The NIE is the number that the Tax Agency and Social Security require to identify any foreigner who wants to carry out economic activity in Spain. Without it, the Administration’s system won’t let you proceed — it is literally step zero.

If you are an EU citizen, obtaining it is a relatively simple process through the EU Citizen Registration Certificate. If you are from outside the EU, you will need a visa or self-employment residence and work authorization before you can apply for it.

While you process your NIE, we prepare all the documentation, review your tax situation, and design your registration strategy. As soon as you have it, we process everything in 24-48 hours. If you have doubts about how to obtain it, we also guide you through the process.

Do I have to pay taxes in my home country too?

It depends on your country of tax residence and how long you have been in Spain. Generally, if you live more than 183 days a year in Spain, you become a tax resident here and Spain has priority over your worldwide income. Many countries have double taxation treaties with Spain that prevent you from paying twice. In the first consultation, we analyze your specific case and explain exactly where and how much you pay — without the jargon.

Shall we talk about your taxes?

Leave your details. An advisor will explain in English exactly what you need to work legally in Spain — no jargon and no obligation.

  • 100% free first consultation.
  • Everything in English, no exceptions.
